Gadkari lambasts DMK and Congress

BJP president Nitin Gadkari launched a scathing attack on the Congress and its ally in Tamil Nadu, the DMK, charging them with looting the country and said that once the BJP formed the government at the centre, it would bring back the thousands of crores of black money stashed in Swiss Addressing a mammoth public meeting of BJP workers and activists to mark the culmination of its 41 day state wide Tamarai yatra on Saturday, the BJP chief described the Congress-DMK alliance as a partnership company that was perpetrating family rule, at the centre and in the state, and said that it was unfortunate that the people of Tamil Nadu too were suffering.


The presence of a huge crowd at the rally proves that BJP was a force in Tamil Nadu and it will show in the assembly polls too, he said, adding the assembly would have BJP representatives this time. Corruption and inflation, the BJP president said, were two faces of the same coin. Corruption led to price rise, he said.

Former telecom minister A Raja's involvement in the telecom scam has already sounded the death knell of the UPA and its ally, DMK, he said, but added "Raja could not have done this all by himself. The brain behind is the DMK leader," he said, without taking the name of Karunanidhi.
