BJP releases first list of candidates for Tamil Nadu polls

The BJP on Thursday released its first list of candidates for the April 13 Tamil Nadu assembly polls, announcing 131 names including party's state unit president Pon Radhakrishnan.

Radhakrishnan will be contesting from Nagercoil constituency in Kanyakumari district.

BJP sources said the next list of candidates is expected to be announced in the coming days, even as the party is likely to contest from all 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu.
