Sri Lanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga set a record double-century opening partnership in World Cup history to set a huge total for Zimbabwe to chase in the Group A ICC World Cup match at the Pallekele International Stadium today.
After winning the toss Zimbabwe's captain Elton Chigumbura set Sri Lanka to bat. In reply Dilshan added 144 and Tharanga added 133 to continue the partnership for 44.4 overs.
